Who is licensed
Insurance is transacted only by a licensed producer, only in states where an active resident or non-resident licence is held, and only for lines covered by that licence.

How licence details are verified
Licence numbers and states are confirmed against state department of insurance records and the NIPR registry before publication, and re-confirmed on renewal. Until a detail is confirmed it is left blank rather than estimated.
Scope of services
Educational content on this site is available everywhere. Transacting insurance, and any recommendation specific to your policy, is limited to states of licensure. Life settlements are separately regulated and, in many states, require a licensed life settlement broker or provider.
